$649 million funding boost for aged care beds

The Minister for Aged Care, Ken Wyatt, has announced funding for an additional 10,000 new residential aged care beds across Australia. The funding boost will total $649 million, with the largest volume of beds allocated to Queensland, Victoria and New South Wales.
