Activities reduce agitation in residents with dementia

People with dementia who live in residential aged care are being negatively impacted by a lack of engagement in activities, a study has found. The report by Griffith University’s Dementia Collaborative Research Centre found that participation in activities helps to reduce factors such as agitation and wandering in people with dementia.
