Aged care sector must appeal to male workers

Economists have warned that the aged care sector must look at ways to attract men into caring roles in order to meet the demands of the ageing population. Around 80 per cent of employees in health care and social assistance are female, however this divide could change if men from the falling manufacturing sector moved into care roles.
