Aged care sector must attract younger workers to survive

The percentage of aged care workers under 35 has not increased since 2003, raising concerns around future staff shortages as older workers retire. LASA Victoria Chief Executive, Trevor Carr, explained that the industry needs to raise awareness that aged care can be a rewarding career path in order to attract younger workers.
