Budget: Aged care cuts and funding revealed

The federal budget has seen a number of funding changes to the aged care sector, with alterations to the Aged Care Funding Instrument (ACFI) resulting in a reduction of $1.2 billion in funding over four years. The budget has also unveiled an increase in regional aged care funding, as well as $136.6 million to fund the My Aged Care contact centre.
