Budget funding announced for aged care

The Federal Government has handed down their 2018-19 Budget, which includes $5 billion towards ageing and aged care over a five year period. This funding includes $50 million to support residential aged care providers transition to new quality standards, 20,000 additional high level home care packages, and $40 million for urgent maintenance and infrastructure for regional providers.
