Calls for funding for vision aids and technologies

The Macular Disease Foundation of Australia (MDFA) has called for an increase in funding for technologies to help vision impaired older Australians. Over 100,000 older Australians with vision loss or blindness rely on aids and technologies, such as talking watches and text to speech programs.
