CDC may include family carer component
A report has revealed that the future of Consumer Directed Care (CDC) in Australia may include an assessment and support process for family carers, similar to that of care recipients. This would be in line with current UK and US practices, and would tie in with the Integrated Plan for Carer Support Services, which the government is currently developing.
