Changes underway for home care sector

Significant changes are underway for the home care sector, with the national budget revealing that the Aged Care Approvals Round (ACAR) for home care packages will be abolished from February 2017. Consumers are to be allocated the funding directly, meaning they will have the choice to access services from their preferred provider.
