Community care providers waiving client fees

The Aged Care Financing Authority has found that less than 50 per cent of community care providers charge their clients the maximum basic daily fee amount. The Authority also reported that 22 per cent of providers were waiving the basic daily fee all together, with many reporting that their clients could not afford to cover the cost.
