Cost of dementia predicted to hit $1 trillion

Alzheimer’s Australia have released the Economic Cost of Dementia 2016-2056 report, which has estimated that over 6.5 million Australians will be diagnosed with dementia in the next 40 years. The cost associated with this increase is projected to total over $1 trillion during this time.
