Depression symptoms increase risk of falls

A study undertaken by Neuroscience Research Australia (NeuRA) found that the risk of falls in older people is significantly increased if they also display depressive symptoms. The study found that regular physical activity helped to reduce the risk of falls as it benefited people both mentally and physically.
