Facilities without EHR system more likely to fail accreditation

Researchers at the University of Wollongong have discovered that aged care facilities without an electronic health records system (EHRs) have a higher risk of failing their accreditation. The study analysed data from over 2,500 facilities, and found that out of the facilities that did not meet their accreditation, only one had an EHR system.
