Flu vaccines mandatory in aged care

The Federal Government has mandated flu vaccines for aged care workers, with all facilities required to offer vaccinations to staff. The government released results of a survey into vaccinations in aged care, which revealed that facilities with only one quarter of staff vaccinated had a 25 per cent higher rate of flu outbreaks than those with three quarters vaccinated.
