Government announces Dementia Supplement replacement

The Federal Government will spend $54.5 million over four years on a new Severe Behaviour Response Team, which will replace the axed Dementia and Severe Behaviour Supplement. Assistant Minister for Social Services, Mitch Fifield, said the team will be a mobile workforce of clinical experts who will assist providers in caring for people with severe behavioural and psychological symptoms of dementia.
