Government investigating inactive aged care beds

The Department of Health is investigating why some residential aged care beds allocated through the Aged Care Approvals Round have been deemed ‘offline’. Residential aged care providers are invited to complete a survey to explain the potential reasons behind ‘offline’ beds, such as facility renovations.
