Government may scrap ACAR for residential aged care

Assistant Minister for Social Services, Mitch Fifield, has indicated that the Federal Government may scrap the Aged Care Approvals Round (ACAR) for residential aged care. Senator Fifield explained that the Aged Care Sector Committee was developing a roadmap for future reform, which it will present to the government by the end of 2015.
