Health-monitoring technology commonplace by 2020

A technology expert has predicted that activity monitoring sensors and specially designed wound management cameras will become commonplace in the care of older Australians by 2020. Dr George Margelis believes that in four years, small devices that monitor an individual’s health and feedback to healthcare professionals will be affordable for most Australians.
