Healthier Medicare reforms need aged care funding: LASA

Healthier Medicare reforms can only be successful if the government prioritises funding and support to aged care providers, according to Leading Aged Services Australia (LASA). LASA Chief Executive, Patrick Reid, stated that the link between GP’s and aged care services must be strengthened in order to reduce hospitalisation rates.
