Intelligent clothing the latest in mobility aids

UK robotics experts have developed a wearable intelligent clothing device designed to help frail older people increase their mobility and avoid falls. The ‘smart trousers’ are fitted with artificial muscles that assist in moving between sitting and standing, while making it easier to climb stairs.
