Internet of Things set to change aged care

With an ageing population and an increase in chronic diseases, the adoption of the ‘Internet of Things’ (IoT) – such as watches with inbuilt monitoring sensors – is set to change the aged care sector. The Internet of Things is when everyday objects have network connectivity, allowing them to send and receive data.
