Long-range sensors to help monitor people with dementia

Antennas and long-range sensors have been installed around Launceston, with the hope to assist wearable devices to track the movements and locations of people with dementia. Once available, the device’s sensors would detect unusual movements or locations of a person with dementia, which would then send an alert to a family member’s phone.
