MedMobile app named Mobility Innovation of the Year

| 30 Jun 2016

Telstra Health is proud to announce that our Medication Management app, MedMobile, was the recipient of two awards at the Victorian iAwards last night. Taking place in Melbourne on Wednesday 29 June, the iAwards honours organisations at the cutting edge of technology innovation in Australia.

The MedMobile app was awarded the Mobility Innovation of the Year award and named the Merit Recipient in the Business Services category.

Nominated by Telstra Health’s iCareHealth subsidiary, MedMobile supports medication administration in residential aged care. The app captures medication administration information at the point of care, is device and platform agnostic, and operates both online and offline. MedMobile helps to ensure medication rounds are efficient and reduces the risk of medication errors.

The Telstra Health – Aged, Disability & Community Care team will now join the other state award winners at the National iAwards on 1 September where the overall category winners will be announced. Telstra Health would like to congratulate the team and all of the clients that helped shape MedMobile for this prestigious win.
