Telstra Health – Aged, Disability & Community Care (ADCC) is pleased to announce that our Medication Management app, MedMobile, was named co-winner of the Best Workforce Efficiency or Quality Improvement Solution at the Information Technology in Aged Care (ITAC) 2016 Awards.
Taking place last night in Melbourne, the ITAC 2016 Awards promoted the importance of information technology in establishing a sustainable, quality focused aged care environment.
This honour is the third win for MedMobile in 2016, after receiving the Mobility Innovation of the Year award in the Business Services category at the Victorian iAwards in June, and the Excellence in Mobility and Devices award at the Microsoft Australia Partner Awards (MAPA) in September.
The MedMobile app captures medication administration information at the point of care, is device and platform agnostic, and operates both online and offline. MedMobile helps to ensure medication rounds are efficient and supports resident care and medication safety through intuitive technology and user experience design.
We would like to thank residential clients San Carlo Homes for the Aged and Latrobe Valley Village, who were invaluable Beta clients for the MedMobile app, and partnered with Telstra Health in the award application process.
