National Aged Care Workforce Census released

The Department of Health has released the 2016 National Aged Care Workforce Census and Survey, which has revealed that the Australian aged care workforce is predominantly older and female. The survey also found that the workforce is both stable and committed, however more will need to be done to attract workers into the industry as the population ages.
