Robots set to take over non-clinical tasks

The Australian health and aged care sectors are seeing an increase in robot ‘helpers’, such as the unmanned food delivery robots in Fiona Stanley Hospital in Western Australia. Professor Wendy Moyle, director of the Centre for Health Practice Innovation at Griffith Health Institute, explained that robots are set to take over non-clinical tasks in aged care, such as cleaning and food delivery.
