Study reveals leading cause of premature deaths

A Victorian study has revealed that over 80% of premature deaths in aged care facilities are from falls. The Victorian Institute of Forensic Medicine found that increasing rates of dementia and frailty in an ageing population were causing a greater incidence in falls related deaths.
