Survey reveals impact of community care services

The Australian Community Care Outcomes Measure (ACCOM) survey tool has been developed to help community care providers measure how their services impact the quality of life of their clients. Researchers from Macquarie University and the Australian Health Services Research Institute (AHSRI) have developed the survey, which compares the care recipient’s opinions on their quality of life with the perceptions of the care provider.
