Telehealth dementia program launched for Indigenous communities

The Department of Health has funded a new telehealth program which will provide geriatric and dementia care to Indigenous Australians. Based in rural and remote Queensland, the DREAMT project will provide screening, treatment, health promotion, and patient support to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people.
