A single Charter of Aged Care Rights has been developed, which will replace the four Charters currently relating to the rights of aged care recipients in residential aged care, community care, and short-term restorative care settings. The new Charter will apply to aged care services from 1 July 2019, and will provide a greater emphasis on high-level consumer rights.
